Our Story

Music changes lives. We just make it happen faster.

Young student learning keyboard

Groovy Projects was founded in May 2025 in Soshanguve Township with a simple belief: music changes lives. What started as a mission to fill empty band chairs in local churches quickly grew into something bigger — a movement to rescue idle youth from the streets and give them purpose, rhythm, and belonging.

We don't just teach music. We build character, discipline, and community — one lesson, one rehearsal, one graduation concert at a time.

Mission

To equip, train, and deploy skilled music instrument players within local churches, while redirecting idle youth toward purpose, discipline, and drug-free living.

Vision

A future where every local church has a thriving band, and every young person chooses an instrument over addiction — transforming both worship and the community.
